When you’re from Kentucky, you have to love horses! This quilted collage captures the grace and thrill of Kentucky’s number one sport.  The horse and rider are rough edged appliquéd, and the background is pieced and top stitched.  Lots of quilty movement in this race.  The quilt is stretched on canvas and is ready to hang.
